The 980nm wavelength is proven to be the ideal wavelength for soft tissue surgical procedures, providing tissue absorption rates six times higher than that of the 810nm wavelength soft-tissue lasers. This enables the MICRO 980 to reduce thermal damage to surrounding tissue, minimize edema and even perform a variety of procedures using only topical anesthetic.
